Our Mission

At JSD, we seek to bring the aesthetic depth of art together with education, exhibition and social awareness. Guided by our founding vision, we aim to contribute to our members' development across a broad spectrum—from artist exchange programmes to academic collaborations—to create publications that introduce our cultural heritage and to build a sustainable art ecosystem.

A new publication from the Association on Japanese art and aesthetics.

WA is being prepared as a magazine that brings the subtle world of Japanese art—from sumi-e and seasonal aesthetics to architecture and craft—together through calm, thoughtful reading. Work on the first issue continues.
